Groups and workshops are offered virtually at different 

times throughout the year and can be offered privately if 

schedule does not align for you. 

Please note that groups and classes are not psychotherapy 

and cannot be reimbursed by health insurance companies.

Improv for Couples

Improv therapy fun facts:

• First rule of improvisation is AGREE, “Yes, And”

• There are no wrong answers EVER! No mistakes, only opportunities.

• A great improvisor is a great listener

• Improv reduces stress and anxiety, builds courage, activates mindfulness, breaks down defense mechanisms, and fosters creativity and playfulness

• Improv changes neural pathways creating real change in the way we interact and communicate

Mothering Adult Children

Like a New Moms Group only for mothers of post-college aged adult children. Parenting doesn't end when children grow up, it evolves, and while there is a lot of parenting support for new mothers, parenting adult children comes with its own challenges. Some topics discussed include: dependence, cut-off, and what is "success"; children's partners and growing families; cultural and generational differences.

• Legal process: litigation, collaboration, mediation

• Co-parenting

• Other big life changes: career, moving, finances

• Extended family and community

• Dating

• Life after divorce
